Your support: Making an immediate impact

A donation to SASS helps survivors right now. Not someday. Not “in theory.” Immediately. At SASS, donations are used for direct, survivor-centered support, not overhead-heavy systems. Every dollar is an act of protection, a step toward safety, dignity, and healing.

How your support helps right now

Your contributions directly fund critical services that reach survivors in their most vulnerable moments, ensuring they receive immediate, compassionate care without barriers.

Provide essential care packages

Donations fund care packages including hygiene, comfort items, and clothing basics, restoring dignity and a sense of safety right after trauma. These packages often reach survivors in their earliest, most vulnerable moments.

Remove barriers to support

Your help allows SASS to respond quickly, without waitlists or excessive paperwork, and meet survivors where they are—emotionally and practically—without requiring reporting or disclosure.

Create safe, trauma-protective spaces

Funds help us build and maintain environments that are calm, respectful, and non-institutional. Designed with survivor input, these spaces are free from retraumatizing dynamics, making safety foundational.

Our bold dream: A survivor-centered inpatient facility

The biggest dream for SASS is to build a full continuum of care for survivors—from the first moment of crisis to long-term healing. One of our boldest dreams is to create a safe, trauma-specific inpatient care facility for survivors of sexual assault. This future means no survivor is left wondering, “What now?”

From vision to reality: The inpatient facility

This facility would be a place where care is trauma-informed, consent-based, and dignified, prioritizing healing over control, punishment, or containment. It’s born from lived experience, ensuring survivors are not re-traumatized by systems. We are building this dream layer by layer, with sustainability and survivor safety at the center. Every donation, partnership, and act of support moves SASS from crisis response to long-term, sustainable healing and helps us plan responsibly instead of rushing unsafely.

Ways to support beyond donations

You don’t need to be an expert or have extra money to make a difference. Showing up—with your time, voice, or compassion—matters. SASS thrives on community, and there are many impactful ways to contribute to a safer future for survivors. This includes volunteering your time and skills, spreading awareness, donating items for care packages, or partnering with SASS. You become part of a safer path forward for survivors.
